Privacy
Yay does not collect anything about you. There is no account, no server, and nothing to leak.
What we collect
Nothing. Yay has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no third party software development kits of any kind.
Where your countdowns live
On your iPhone, and nowhere else. Your countdowns, their names, dates, emoji and themes are stored on the device so the app and its widgets can read them. They are never sent anywhere, because Yay has no server to send them to.
If your iPhone is set to back up to iCloud, your Yay data is included in that backup, the same as any other app. That backup is between you and Apple.
Purchases
Yay sells a one-off unlock and theme packs through the App Store. Apple handles the payment entirely. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple Account. All Yay receives from Apple is whether a purchase was made, so it knows which themes to switch on.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled by your iPhone and delivered by your iPhone. They are not push notifications, nothing is sent from a server, and no one is told when a reminder fires.
Children
Yay is safe for any age. Since it collects nothing, there is nothing to collect from children either.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Everything goes with it. There is no account to close and no copy held anywhere else.
Changes
If Yay ever does start collecting something, this page will say so before it happens, not after.
